Sonos – Training display

The Sonos Benelux team needed a solution to demonstrate their product range across multiple training sessions at key retail accounts. Since these events were held at different locations over a short period, the solution had to be flexible (to adapt to various spaces), easy to install and safe to transport.

Oy designed and built three bespoke ‘transport boxes’ (for Home Theater, Speakers, and Portables) with built-in technology and equipment, turning complex installations into plug-and-play setups. Each unit is tailored to carry and showcase its own product range while ensuring everything is well protected during transport.

The system is fully modular: all boxes can be connected to function as one cohesive demonstration unit. This allows Sonos to present their product lines in a structured, elegant, and unified way—regardless of the location.

The exterior design mimics a shipping crate, emphasizing the functional, mobile character of the units. Inside, we replicated the look and feel of the Sonos AVS displays using materials such as felt panels, birch wood, and full-color stretch fabric prints—creating a striking contrast to the rugged exterior.

Whether at trade shows, retail trainings, or private demos, these mobile units provide maximum flexibility and a funky, on-brand presentation with plug-and-play convenience. With this solution, Sonos can focus on what matters most: delivering an immersive audio experience.
